Authentic Japanese Katana Samurai Sword Replica Steel Blade Dragon Storm Clouds

■Conditon:
an samurai katana sword (probably 1045 model with cosmetically applied hamon) likely made for display purposes but possibly Iaito. The most major imperfection is that the tip of the sword is now bent from clashing, and not fully straight sharpened. This item was produced, purchased, and shipped straight from Japan. The piece shows some speckling (some from production, some from use and display) along with some raised metal bumps from the handmade forging process. Overall the sword is in good condition with a well forged blade, strong handle, tight tsukaito (cords), attached sageo (rope tie) and weighted perfectly - all verifying authenticity. We have not opened up the blade and cannot confirm tang fullness. Please see all pictures for full representation before purchasing.

BC ranking - This item was previously owned with imperfections in the steel forging process, a bent tip from clashing, and slight marks from use and display, but there is no doubt of authenticity as this item was produced and found right here in Japan. STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN - This is an authentic Japanese display sword. We have not taken the item apart or changed it in anyway (with mekugi peg still situated in place as expected) so you will be receiving exactly what you're seeing! This piece may be an Iaito style swords, but it was likely produced as a 1045 model with cosmetically applied hamon for display purposes only, having a dulled blade, and most noticeably a dented tip from clashing. If you are looking for a real Japanese sword, you've come to the right place. The sword shows a good hamon effect but is possibly cosmetic in that it shows microscopic vertical lines probably due to brushing during or after clay tempering.
