Authentic Japanese Katana Samurai Sword Display Set Replica Steel Blade Dragon

■Conditon:
an authentic pair of samurai katana swords (probably 1045 model with cosmetically applied hamon) likely made for display purposes but possibly Iaito. This set was produced, purchased, and shipped straight from Japan. These items show some speckling (some from production, some from use and display) along with some raised metal bumps from the handmade forging process. The larger sword has a hilt with more aging than the smaller one, showing more of the gold than the black in comparison. The smaller of the two has more significant bumps across the metal. Overall both items are in good condition with well forged blades, strong handles, tight tsukaito (cords), attached sageo (rope tie) and weighted perfectly - all verifying authenticity. We have not opened up the blades and cannot confirm tang fullness. Please see all pictures for full representation before purchasing.

B ranking - This item was previously owned with slight imperfections in the steel forging process and slight marks from use and display, but there is no doubt of authenticity as this item was produced and found right here in Japan. STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN - This is an authentic pair of Japanese swords. We have not taken the item apart or changed it in anyway (with mekugi peg still situated in place as expected) so you will be receiving exactly what you're seeing! These may be Iaito style swords, but they were likely produced as 1045 models with cosmetically applied hamon for display purposes only, and have dulled blade, albeit still pointy tips. If you are looking for a real Japanese sword, you've come to the right place. The larger katana has black peeling of it's hilt showing more gold as compared to the smaller version. The larger sword also has a more copper looking blade attachment as compared to the brass looking one on the smaller piece. Both swords show a good hamon effect but are possibly cosmetic in that they show microscopic vertical lines probably due to brushing. Both show slight abrasions from display and/or use. ■ Returns/Refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges due to buyer's remorse, issues with import fees, change of mind, or courier mishandling. In the case we ship a different item to you or there are issues when the item arrives, please contact us so we can help resolve the issues as best possible. In very specific and certain situations, we will occasionally offer refunds after the item is returned to us.

■ Shipping

All purchases are currently being fulfilled by DHL Express and will usually take two weeks for the package to arrive.

Packages are declared as they are sold. The title of the sale and price of the purchase cannot be altered for delivery, and items cannot be marked as "gift".

All items are authentic and will be shipped directly from Japan.

NOTE: With the worldwide spread of current infectious disease, measures such as suspension of international mail have been taken in many regions.  Please keep in mind your shipment may see unexpected delays once released to DHL. We will do our best in providing you fast and responsive service for any inquiries and status of your delivery. 

■ Handling

We'll ship within 2 - 5 business days after receiving payment. We will often hand the item to the post office within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of payment. The average handling and delivery time for DHL once they receive the package from us will be a two week time frame. Due to current delays (SEE ABOVE) the handling time of the postal service may be longer than usually expected. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.

■ International Buyers Please Note: 

Import duties, taxes, and customs charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.  Because we do not charge tax to our international customers, DHL will likely have to pay import charges based on your states individual tax laws or how your country handles VAT costs on ecommerce purchases. These charges are the buyer's responsibility when it arrives, as it is always different based on cost of purchase and location of delivery. DHL policies will often require you to complete these import payments upon delivery of your purchase.
