■Conditon:
a samurai katana sword set (probably 1045 model with cosmetically applied hamon) likely made for display purposes only, but possibly Iaito due to it's near full tang (3 quarters w/ two holes, but one peg). There are minor imperfections along the blades but they are otherwise quite clean. Blades are dulled and not sharpened, again signifying display or practice purposes. This item was produced, purchased, and shipped straight from Japan. Overall the sword is in decent condition with a well forged blade, strong handle, tight tsukaito (cords), and weighted perfectly - all verifying authenticity. STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN - This is an authentic Japanese display sword set. We confirmed the tang is close to full and not a rat tail or half style. It's about 3 quarters full with two holes but only one peg. These pieces may be an Iaito style swords, but they were likely produced as 1045 models with cosmetically applied hamon for display purposes only, having dulled blades. If you are looking for a real Japanese sword, you've come to the right place. The sword shows a good hamon effect but is possibly cosmetic in that it shows microscopic vertical lines probably due to brushing during or after clay tempering. There are slight imperfections from display and/or use. Make sure to review all images before purchasing. Please see our other sales for hard to find and authentic vintage product. ■ Returns/Refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges due to buyer's remorse, issues with import fees, change of mind, or courier mishandling. In the case we ship a different item to you or there are issues when the item arrives, please contact us so we can help resolve the issues as best possible. In very specific and certain situations, we will occasionally offer refunds after the item is returned to us.

■ Shipping

All purchases are currently being fulfilled by DHL Express and will usually take two weeks for the package to arrive.

Packages are declared as they are sold. The title of the sale and price of the purchase cannot be altered for delivery, and items cannot be marked as "gift".

All items are authentic and will be shipped directly from Japan.

NOTE: With the worldwide spread of current infectious disease, measures such as suspension of international mail have been taken in many regions.  Please keep in mind your shipment may see unexpected delays once released to DHL. We will do our best in providing you fast and responsive service for any inquiries and status of your delivery. 

■ Handling

We'll ship within 2 - 5 business days after receiving payment. We will often hand the item to the post office within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of payment. The average handling and delivery time for DHL once they receive the package from us will be a two week time frame. Due to current delays (SEE ABOVE) the handling time of the postal service may be longer than usually expected. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.

■ International Buyers Please Note: 

Import duties, taxes, and customs charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.  Because we do not charge tax to our international customers, DHL will likely have to pay import charges based on your states individual tax laws or how your country handles VAT costs on ecommerce purchases. These charges are the buyer's responsibility when it arrives, as it is always different based on cost of purchase and location of delivery. DHL policies will often require you to complete these import payments upon delivery of your purchase.
